Default Cobias in Beaufort

Spent 2 weeks in Beaufort sight casting Cobes. Wind dictated some on the hook fishing as well. Cant say there has been a huge bite going on but some cought. Had a customer donate a live cobia to DNR for spawn. Matt, biologist with DNR, was on the river, called him to let him know we had one at the boat. 10 minutes later the 25lber was swimming in the tank. One of two things will happen. If the DNA confirms it is a released spawn fish he will be placed back in Broad river, if it is a wild fish he will become a stud and live the good life.
